Name: Greta Michaelsen

Experience: She started out as an instructional assistant at Camelot Elementary in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. She then taught 1^st grade at Armstrong Elementary. She taught 1^st grade for two years at Kent Gardens. She finally found her home at Sleepy Hollow! She has taught 2^nd grade, several years of 1^st, and now she’s loving her 3^rd year of kindergarten! She has been teaching for 14 years!

About Ms. Michaelsen: Outside of school she enjoys spending time with my baby girl Ella and her two dogs Tapio and Teddy. She has another job/passion as a photographer (Ella M. Photography). She photographs families, babies, pets, weddings and other parties on the weekends and in the summertime. She also plays the flute and sings with different groups. I enjoy drawing and swimming whenever I can. My favorite place in the world is a pool or the beach.

What she likes the most about working with our students: Our students are awesome! She feels like Sleepy Hollow it is her home away from home. We take care of each other and are surrounded by wonderful teachers, staff, children and families. Every substitute she talks to says how special our school is and she agrees!
